Why do you call yourselves "Club Sandwich"? Because Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender is a real mouthful! GLBT sounds a bit like BLT which you no doubt know is a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich. We think you get the idea. We don't care if it's silly, it's fun and that's what we are all about! Using the word "club" is also in response to the fact that there is no dedicated entertainment venue for GLBT people in the area. But that doesn't mean that we don't have places to go for a bevvy and to socialise. If you want to find a list of the places that queer folk frequent in Warrnambool, go to our What's On page. Why was Club Sandwich set up? The aim of Club Sandwich is fun! The mission statement? Fun! Goals? Fun! Too often GLBT people are associated with "issues" and "problems", and while we realise it's important to offer people the chance to find further information about these things, we believe it's just as important to make sure there are plenty of opportunities for FUN. |

And more courageous than the world has ever known.
Oh passer-by my heart was like your own." Violet Trefusis
