South West Institute of TAFE Student Association - Queer Representative
The Queer Representative at SW TAFE assists GLBT students through advocacy, representation and the organisation of events and activities both on campus and through collaborative initiatives with outside groups and organisations. Our former rep Amelia has left the TAFE to go to Deakin. Untill another Queer Rep comes along, Jackie Wallis is available to assist you if you are experienceing problems at TAFE because of your sexuality or percieved sexuality. Deakin University Warrnambool Student Association - Queer Representative
Astro (Amelia Phillips) has just transfered from TAFE to Deakin and will become the Queer Womens Representative at the Warrnambool campus. However, Michelle Reiner was the Queer Womens Representative in 2005 alongside Paul Venzo the Male Queer Representative. Amilia, Michelle and Paul are also involved in Club Sandwich. Michelle is now the Women's Representative and is also available to assist GLBT Deakin University Warrnambool Students.

Warrnambool P-FLAG
Currently there are a couple of parents of lesbian and gay people who are in the process of forming a Warrnmabool P-FLAG group. P-FLAG stands for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. This is a support & advocacy group for parents and family. If you would like to be involved please send Club Sandwich and email and we will pass on your details to Jill and Jill.

Club Sandwich On Line Buddy System
If you have just recently "come out" or are new to Warrnambool then you probably don't want to just turn up to an event where you don't know anyone. If you feel a little nervous about meeting up with other local GLBTs then we offer an email buddy system that you may like to try. Just send us an email telling us a bit about yourself and we can find you an online buddy to write to until you feel comfortable to come along to the many fun activites Club Sandwich will be sending your way. Buddies are trusted friendly volunteers from the local GLBT community. Please be aware that the buddy system is not an online dating or counselling service.
